Ultralight Aviation Federation of Paragliding Sport of the Kyrgyz Republic
We develop paragliding, raise the standard of flight safety, and bring pilots in Kyrgyzstan together.
Areas of work
- Flight safetyA flight is made in favourable weather, inside the agreed boundaries and altitudes, and only when no airspace restriction is in force. The site and the radio are checked before launch, not only the wing.
- Designated launches and landings, or a safe zone agreed in advance
- Assessment of obstacles and turbulence, an alternate landing, and radio contact with the instructor
- Temporary restrictions are passed on to pilots before they travel
- If life is at risk: 112, 103, and 101. A site incident notice does not include medical or passport detail
- Pilot trainingThe programme runs from theory to the registry entry. A solo launch is allowed only after that entry. Until then, flights are with an instructor.
- Paraglider aerodynamics, ultralight air law, meteorology, and abnormal procedures
- Ground handling and training launches on the instructor’s command
- An instructor teaches a stage only with a valid clearance and within the published programme
- Clearance is confirmed by a theory exam and a check flight. The Federation records the result
- Sport developmentThe Federation develops paragliding: it trains pilots and keeps sporting grades and the public registry.

- Pre-flight preparationFor training and the internal standard, the site and the radio are checked before launch, not only the wing.
- Weather limitsFlights are made only in favourable weather. Unfavourable weather is a reason not to launch.
- Abnormal proceduresFly the wing and choose a landing area first. Call the ground once the path is under control.
